State of California's Strong Warning on EMF Effects. |
The following is from Tools For Wellness newsletter. After spending more than $7 million over the last eight years, the California Department of Health Services has issued the strongest warning to date on the potential risks from exposure to power-frequency electromagnetic fields (EMF). The 500 page report cites four main areas of concern: 1. Added risk of childhood leukemia. 2. Higher incidence of adult brain cancer. 3. Higher incidence of miscarriage. 4. Higher incidence of Lou Gehrig's Disease.
These findings were reported on CNN on August 15, 2002 and published in the July/August 2002 issue of Microwave News, an industry trade publication.
